You should download files for flashing:
GECKO-ROM-3.24.40.80-v3.6.zip: Download from HERE
TWRP 2.8.7.0 recovery by quanganh2627 (new Decmber build) auto installer:(AUTO INSTALLER)
Step 2:
1) Unpack archive with ADB and put TWRP image there.
2) Copy file with rom and gapps to internal/external memory of your phone.
3) Then you should reboot your phone in the droidboot mode. (turn off you gadget then press Turn off button and volume + button)
Then go to the ADB folder and hold Shift + Right Mouse button and write this command:

Then you should reboot your phone in the recovery mode. (turn off you gadget then press Turn off button and volume - button)
Step 3:
Then you phone will reboot in the recovery. In the recovery you should install a package: GECKO-ROM-3.24.40.80-v3.6.zip
Step 4:
After flashing, you should format (not wipe) data and cache in the TWRP.
Then you should reboot to system.

Today i am going do unboxing of ASUS Lolliflash.

Lets start with some information on lolliflash
first of all lets talk about its name which is lolliflash because its design is as same as a lollipop candy and last word 'flash' as it is a flash. Its a external dual LED flash. It has dual tone LED(White and Amber) flash which improves low light photos and it gives true colors and skin tones.you can use with any phone having a 3.5mm headphone jack to Capture Stunning Selfies. You can use the Lolliflash to click some Bright and ExtraOrdinary Selfies with it. Also can be used in Photography using Rear Camera.

Warning - This is small beast but Don't UnderEstimate it's Power with the Size it can blind you for Few Seconds because of it's high Power if you are using it for a Selfie, before you hit the shutter button on your smartphone. But there is a solution for it and i.e., the Filters that are provided with the LolliFlash. These are in White, Blue and Pink Colours. (If Lydia die) : If she die then open console and type " a2c94.resurrect ". But this will reset her inventory so please search her and take all of her inventory items.
(If Lydia is lost) : If she is lost then just type in console " a2c94.moveto player ".

INSTRUCTIONS:-

Copy these 3 files to external SD card. (Note: don't copy to internet as you will be formatting internal storage)
Press Power Button and Go to Reboot
Select Recovery and wait for the Phone to boot into Recovery. (If you can’t then switch off phone and press Vol Up and Power button together until Asus logo shows and phone vibrates )
Now Go to Wipe and Advanced
Type Yes as promoted to format the internal storage. ( Formatting is recommend by Developer )
Now go to Install and then go to external SD
Install the RR file first then the Xpose zip at last the Gapps.
Clear the data/Cache
Reboot into system
Booting and android upgrading will take 15 or more minutes so be patient.
Last thing to remove lag is after system boot go to Settings->Developer Options And Disable Force GPU render.
Random Rebooting and phone reboots after msgs and calls then go to Settings->Display->Disable Ambient display

INSTRUCTION FOR NEW USER:-

Step 1: INSTALL all the drivers for your phone. To do that install this intel driver(HERE) AND ADB DRIVER INSTALLER(HERE).

Step 2: Now after installing these in your pc. GO TO SETTINGS>>ABOUT>>SOFTWARE INFORMATION>>BUILD NUMBER then tap build number for 7 times to Get DEVELOPER OPTIONS.
Step 3: Now Go BACK TO SETTINGS aND CLICK ON DEVELOPER OPTIONS AFTER THAT ENABLE/Tick On DEBUGGING OPTION.

Step 4: Now connect your phone to PC using USB CABLE.

Step 5: UNLOCK YOUR BOOTLOADER(HERE) after downloading first of all disable your ANTIVIRUS Before extracting this file. After that you will find unlock bootloader.bat (A BATCH FILE) click on it.AND BEFORE CLICKING DISABLE YOUR PHONE'S Lock TO PREVENT ANY DAMAGE.

Step 6: JUST USE THE BATCH FILE TO AUTO INSTALL TWRP RECOVERY

Step 11 : Navigate to Recovery option in bootloader using volume buttons and press power button to select and reboot into recovery.

Step 12 : Click on Wipe>Advanced Wipe>Select Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data and swipe to wipe
After that follow above instruction.

NOW TO AFTER THE FIRST BOOT YOU CAN FLASH THE BOOT.zip Which YOU DOWNLOADED ABOVE.

TO FLASH THAT GO TO RECOVERY MODE THEN SELECT THAT zip FOLDER THEN SWIPE. NOW AFTER FLASHING WIPE CACHE/DALVIK CACHE. THEN REBOOT YOUR PHONE THIS WILL TAKE 20mins or more so TAKE A NAP>

Hey all many of us facing some problems in lollipop 5.0 and desperately want to downgrade to the previous version i.e. kitkat ..HERE' the steps how to do this manually for those who dont know how to do it,The following is a detailed guide with step-by-step instructions to help you downgrade your ZenFone 5.

Keep in mind that this tutorial is for the ZenFone T00F and T00J WW variants which should be running 3.23.40.52. Do not try these on any other variant. Downgrading using the official firmware does not void your manufacturer's warranty, but you need to be extremely cautious, during the process.

NOTE: I will not be held liable for any damage during the process. Do not forget to keep a backup of all data of the phone.

How to downgrade ZenFone 5 from Lollipop to Kitkat v2.21.40.44

Step-1: Download Android 4.4 KitKat firmware versions 5.3.3.3 and 5.2.2.2 for your ZenFone 5

FOR 5.2.2.2 HERe

Step-1: Do not extract the downloaded links.

Step-2: Connect the ZenFone to the PC and copy the version 5.3.3.3 only to the phone's internal storage. Do not copy the v5.2.2.2

Step-3: Disable the USB cable. Your phone will show a notification, 'System Update File Detected. Touch to start the system update'

Step-4: Touch the notification to get a pop-up, which will show the file name of the KitKat firmware v5.3.3.3. Select it and tap OK

Step-5: The phone will now enter recovery mode and install the aforementioned KitKat firmware. After the installation, the phone will restart automatically

Step-6: Now flash KitKat firmware v5.2.2.2 on your phone

Step-7: Connect the phone with the PC and move the KitKat file to the internal storage

Step-8: Like the previous KitKat firmware, you should get a notification about the update. Simply touch it to get a pop-up and tap OK to install 5.2.2.2. This should downgrade your software version KitKat completely

Step-9: A reboot is required after the process

After the process go to Settings>> About>> Software information>> Build number, and it should show 2.21.40.44.

THIS IS THE EASY PROCESS BUT TO DO THIS YOU WILL NEED TO DOWNLOAD 2 ROMS around 700MB.
YOU can downgrade or upgrade to any version via sideload.

CM 12.1 For Zenfone 5

After a long wait some people worked on CM12.1 to make it more stable. Now its STABLE FOR DAILY USE.

BUGS-

I DID NOTICE...... WHENEVER YOU PUT YOUR PHONE TO FLIGHT MODE THEN YOU NEED TO MANUALLY FIND THE NETWORK. NO FM, AUDIO/VIDEO LAG IN YOUTUBE AND OTHER PLACES BUT IF YOU USE THE SW DECORDER IN MX PLAYER YOU WILL NOT FACE IT. DOUBLE TAP TO WAKE FEATURE REMOVED TO GET BETTER BATTERY.
